Meeting on the 23rd January 2008 Mainly discussion about Qonnectis which we purchased yesterday and finalising the last bits of the website.
Attending: Nick, Ben. Qonnectus: - Worked out that we need to sell the share at 2.18 pence to break even.
- Decided to see how the market goes over the next week to let it settle down after mondays slump before setting a minimum price we will allow the share to reach before selling.
Website - Decided to create a section where what happened in each meeting would be written up the evening of the meeting.
- A new thread will be created on the forum the day after each meeting where items for discussion at the next one, including individual companies will be posted and discussed as they are thought of.
- The day before each meeting, someone will collate all the items in a word document and attach it to the final post in the thread so it can be accessed in the meeting.
- Each member will try and post one article per week so that we can get a reasonable sized content base. After a month or so we'll start publisizing the site (we should have enough content by then)
- The site will also have an about us section
- Each company we seriousely consider for investment will have it's own page within an "our investments" section.
- A Ticker will be added to the top of the site going through the current prices for each of our holdings.
- The site will have a seperate section about ways to make money online.
General - We will try and have a full portfolio by min February
Next Meeting - Saturday afternoon
- Each member will have one company with at least an A4 sheet summarising one potential buy oppurtunity with a market cap of greater than 100 million:
- who they are
- what they do
- reasons to buy
- reasons not to buy
- key financials (e.g. PE, EPS for this year, last year and idealy predicted for next year as well as comparisons with sector averages)
- why now is a better time than any other to buy.
- All topics for dicussion will be posted on the forum before saturday
